Knights in Shining Armor

HEY! Finally got internet, but just for today. I am in Baltimore right now. It is beautiful! It looks just like Colorado, minus the mountains and plus the trees! The highlight of my trip (today is the last day here) was this midevil dinner that I went to last night. I absolutely loved it! my mom first saw it and suggested it we all thought that it looked cheesy. But we had nothing better to do so we went! I love it when you accidently discover something amazing=)! So, we go in and I hear that there were horses. I have really been feeling home sick, or shall I say barn sick. I always have such problems leaving my horse alone =(... well any ways, I was all jumpy. We stood in line to get in and they, for some reason, moved us up to first class! front row in the arena! It was so amazing! So we got our meal (which was amazing) and we wern't allowed to use silverware (I was because I got the vegeterian meal, tehe) and it was very midevil. I loved it. The horses came out and I was awe strucken. I took some videos and am thinking of putting a youtube video up of it. They had the midevil story, with horse back games like jousting, and spears and all sorts of amazing stuff, and also andulusian stallions (even though I am pretty sure they are actually geldings...) Every time the guy on our side (red) would win something, he would give these flowers to a girl on the red tteam. I never got a flower. I must admit, he was pretty darn cute! And he cared about his horse. When his horse got fussy, he got off and made sure that the horse was alright. At the end he was given this award to give to a girl. It was a silk banner that said "queen of love and beauty." He came straight to me and gave it to me! Oh boy, he was raising it and everything too, making it difficult to get. He won against every knight at the end too=)!

I was thinking about that. Is God my Knight in shining armor? Am I a damsel in distress, waiting for him to come save me? No and Yes. God, he is so much more to me than a knight in shining armor! First of all, he dosn't ride horses, he MAKES them! hehe. And he dosn't give me a flower, he gives me the whole garden. It is up to me to accept his invitation and take the banner. And I am not a damsel in distress, oh no. I am a damsel in Gods hands. He puts me in distress to make me a better person. Thank you God for making me suffer. I think that I will talk about that later. God, thanks for being so much more than my Knight in shining armor!

love,
stephy=)!!!!
